01/04/04 Farewell and Bon Voyage!
The Technical Advisory Service is being substantially reduced in line with the gradual winding down of activity. These Web pages are no longer going to be actively maintained or supported, but we are committed to keeping the original programme material accessible into the future. More information is on the new home page.

Introduction

Welcome to the nof-digitise Technical Advisory Service. This service is provided by UKOLN in association with the AHDS, on behalf of the New Opportunities Fund and in association with the People's Network. It provides technical advisory support for stage two applicants to nof-digitise.

All stage two nof-digitise applicants must comply to the technical standards for the programme. This document is published on the People's Network site.

Programme Manual

All general information on how to takle part in the NOF-digitise programme is available from the Programme Manual. The manual is continually updated and new sections are regularly added.

For any technical questions contact nof-support@ukoln.ac.uk. Please state your NOF-digi number (e.g. DIG/2000/001) when emailing.

18/9/03 Announcement of a workshop to be held on Tuesday November 18th, 11am to 4pm. Theme is Preservation. Advice and strategies on implementing a preservation strategy for a NOF-digi project. More details here...

UKOLN is funded by MLA, the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council, the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) of the Higher and Further Education Funding Councils, as well as by project funding from the JISC and the European Union.
