Workshop on digital resource preservation

Workshop presentational material

Tuesday November 18th, 11am to 4pm

Projects within the NOF-digitise funding programme have now digitised an incredible range of resources. Digital text and images, GIS data and virtual reality models are now integrated into websites and being delivered to an international audience.

But if these digital resources are to continue to be disseminated in the short and long term, projects need to be able to implement functioning preservation strategies to ensure their survival.

NOF Digitise is therefore running a one-day workshop aimed at informing projects of how to implement their preservation strategies. It will offer practical advice and guided steps about what projects should be doing, encourage reflection on what decisions need to be taken and involve discussion of the various obstacles facing projects in executing such a strategy.

Who this is this workshop aimed at?

  • Senior or project managers on all NOF-digi projects
