OpenURL Meeting - An event organised by the JIBS User Group and UKOLN as a result of a growing interest within the academic library community of the issues surrounding OpenURL linking. The meeting took place at The Diskus Conference Centre, London on the 17 September 2003.

The Fourth Open Archives Forum Workshop - In Practice, Good Practice: the Future of Open Archives - took place at UKOLN, University of Bath, 4-5 September 2003.

Bath Profile Four Years On: what's being done in the UK? - was held on 7 July 2003, at the Francis Hotel, Bath.

The 7th Institutional Web Management Workshop - took place at the University of Kent on 11-13 June 2003.

Schemas and ontologies: building a semantic infrastructure for GRIDs and digital libraries - UKOLN and the National e-Science Centre held the second in a series of workshops in Edinburgh on May 16 2003.

Mapping the Information Landscape: A Showcase of Collection Description Projects and Services - This Collection Description Focus Showcase Event was held at The British Library, London on 25 March 2003.

CORES Schema Creation/Registration Workshop - took place in SZTAKI, Budapest, 6-7 March 2003.

The 5th Collection Description Workshop - was held on Thursday 30 January 2003, Hughes Hall, University of Cambridge.

MEG Schema Creation Workshop - was was held on Tuesday, 21 January, 2003, University of Bath

Collection-Level Description and Collection Management: Tool for the trade or information trade-off? - the fourth Collection Description Focus Workshop was held on Friday 8 November 2002, University of Newcastle, Castle Leazes Halls of Residence. The workshop explored the relationship between collection-level description and collection management.

Creating e-citizens: developing public library Websites for 2005 - This event offered the chance to see how public library Websites fit into the government's plans to make all services electronically available by 2005. 5-6 November 2002, University of Bath

The 6th Institutional Web Management Workshop: The Pervasive Web took place at the University of Strathclyde on 18-20 June 2002.

Realising the potential of collection-level description: Practitioners and policy makers share experiences - The second Collection Description Briefing Day was held on Tuesday 14 May 2002 at the British Library, London.

Raising standards for collection description subjects and strength in CLDs - The third Collection Description Focus workshop was held on Thursday 21 March 2002 at the Wolfson Suite, University of Edinburgh Library, Edinburgh.

Multi-purpose metadata for collections: creating reusable CLDs - The second Collection Description Focus workshop was held on Friday 8 February 2002 at Aston Business School.

The SCHEMAS project hosted a one-day workshop - Sharing schemas; progress and future plans - on 30 November 2001 in The Hague

Digitisation workshop at the University of Bristol - TASI and UKOLN ran a one day workshop on Friday 23 November 2001 entitled 'You've digitised but now what?' that aims to help those who are running digitisation projects focus on ways of ensuring the longer-term sustainability of services and widening access to their collection.
