The JIBS User Group and UKOLN have organised this meeting as a result of a growing interest within the academic library community of the issues surrounding OpenURL linking.

The meeting will enable you to:

- Understand how OpenURL linking works

- Find out details of a number of commercially available OpenURL resolvers

- Benefit from the experience of existing users of the OpenURL

- Learn about national OpenURL initiatives at MIMAS and EDINA

The OpenURL provides a library-managed method of linking up electronic library resources such as bibliographic databases, electronic journals and library OPACs.

This event is aimed at a non-technical audience.

Cost
