About This Document

This document provides access to information about the technical standards for use in JISC's Digital Repositories programme.

The document is structured as follows:

• A summary of the approach taken to selection and use of standards in JISC's development programmes and a description of the contexual approach which has ben developed.

• Information provided by the Digital Repository support team and programme manager descroibing the support infrastructure, procedures, etc. related to the selection and use of standards by projects.

• Access to standards of direct relevance to the Digital Repositories Programme.

• Access to standards likely to be of relevance to many of JISC Development Programmes.

• Access to other standards which may not necessarily be of relevance to the Digital Repositories Programme.

• Information on how to provide feedback.
