Brian Kelly and Marieke Napier ran a workshop session on Publishing Web Magazines, e-Journals & Webzines at the Internet Librarian International 2001 Conference. The workshop session took place on Thursday 28th March from 13:30-16:30.

Abstract

This half-day workshop is aimed at organisations and individuals who wish to produce their own Web magazine or e-Journal, either for in-house use or for the general public, or who wish to further develop an existing one. It covers a number of issues associated with publishing Web magazines and e-Journals including:

Target Audience

The workshop is intended primarily for members of services such as libraries, educational institutions, public sector organisations, etc. who are considering setting up an electronic publication or have an existing electronic publication which they wish to develop further.

Format

The workshop will consist of a mixture of presentations, group discussion and hands-on exercises.
