JISC IE Metadata Schema Registry

Introduction

UKOLN will lead requirements gathering in collaboration with CETIS, Becta and JISC projects and services. The focus will be to:

• Define use cases for the IEMSR
• Define an appropriate data model for the IEMSR
• Identify or if required define RDF vocabularies necessary to implement the data model
• Specify the requirements of the human-readable interface to the IEMSR
• Specify the requirements of the machine-readable interface to the IEMSR

Events

• Workshop: Tools for the IEMSR, Bath, 15 March 2005

  The workshop offered an opportunity to explore and evaluate the tools that the project is developing to create and disclose descriptions of metadata vocabularies and application profiles.
