Venue

The CIG 2008 conference will take place at the John Anderson Campus of University of Strathclyde.

This campus is ideally situated in Glasgow City Centre with easy access by car or public transport.

The conference sessions will take place in the Graham Hill Building and accommodation will be in single ensuite rooms in the Campus Village.

Travel to venue

The University and the city of Glasgow are well served by road, train and air connections from all regions of the UK. Regular links with the continent by boat and air are also available.

Airport - The Campus Village is about a 20 minute drive from the airport. However there is also a frequent bus service which takes you to Buchanan Street Bus Station. The campus is then only a 10 minute walk away from the bus station.

Bus Station - Buchanan Bus Station is a 10 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride to the village

Train Station - Both Central and Queen Street Railway Stations are within a 10/15 minute walking distance of the Campus Village, or alternatively a short taxi journey of c. 5 minutes.
