VIAF
The Virtual International Authority File is a joint project by the Deutsche Nationalbibliothek, the Library of Congress, the Bibliothèque nationale de France, and OCLC to match and link the authority records for personal names in the retrospective personal name authority files of the Deutsche Nationalbibliothek (dnb), the Library of Congress (LC), and the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF).

VRA
The Visual Resources Association is a multi-disciplinary community of image management professionals working in educational and cultural heritage environments. The Association is committed to providing leadership in the field, developing and advocating standards, and providing educational tools and opportunities for its members.

VRA Core
The VRA Core Element Set is a metadata set for creating records to describe works of visual culture and the images that document them.
