Creative Commons (CC) licences are part of the movement started by US lawyer Lawrence Lessig that aims to expand the collection of creative work available for others to build upon and share. There are a series of eleven Creative Commons licences available to download from the Web site. They enable copyright holders to allow display, public performance, reproduction and distribution of their work while assigning specific restrictions.
Speakers and workshop facilitators at the Institutional Web Management Workshop are invited to make their presentations and handouts available under a Creative Commons licence.
One licence you might like to consider is the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.0 License.
