Meeting Place On Monday Evening

On the evening of Monday 17 June, following the workshop registration delegates are invited to join their fellow delegates in the Lord Todd Bar from 7 pm. Todd's Bar is situated just minutes from the conference accommodation.

Afterwards delegates are free to visits restaurants and pubs in the vicinity.

Conference Buffet And Ceilidh - Tuesday 18 June

The Conference Buffet and Ceilidh will be held on the evening of Tuesday 18 June from 19.00 - 24.00 in the Lord Todd Restaurant, Lord Todd building.

The Ceilidh Band will be "Robbie Shepherd's Nightmare". Additional entertainment will be provided by Clydeside Rapper.

Conference Drinks Reception - Wednesday 19 June

On the Wednesday evening (19 June) at 19.00, there will be a Drinks Reception at The Lighthouse, Scotland's Centre for Architecture and Design situated just off one of Glasgow's most impressive thoroughfares, Buchanan Street.The Lighthouse is at 11 Mitchell Lane, Glasgow G1 3NU. [Map]

Following the Drinks Reception delegates are encouraged to try one of the fine restaurants located in Glasgow's Merchant City within minutes of Strathclyde University Campus.

Bars

Todd's Bar in the Lord Todd Building is fully licensed and open daily throughout the summer for the service of drinks and snacks from 11.00 - 24.00.

Pubs

Information of local pubs and bars is available. The information is provided on a best endeavours basis and the workshop organisers accept no liability for bad pints, hangovers, etc.!
