About This Talk

Brian Kelly gave a seminar on "Exploiting The Potential of Web 2.0 and Social Media" at the Science and Technology Facilities Council which was held at Polaris House, North Star Avenue, Swindon, SN2 1SZ from 10.30-12.30 on Thursday 9^th July 2009.

The talk discussed various Web 2.0 services which the Science and Technology Facilities Council can use to engage with its communities and add tangible benefits to the organisation and its stakeholders/communities. The talk also explored the problems and pitfalls of Web 2.0 and strategies which can be taken to minimise such risks in ways which can satisfy senior management and public sector auditing bodies.
