The talk covered web developments of relevance to developers of the HyLiFe eLib project, including data formats (HTML 4.0, CSS 2.0 and XML), transport (HTTP/1.1 and HTTP/NG), metadata (RDF) and distributed searching (e.g. Z39.50 / interoperability / authentication).
