UKOLN is a centre of expertise in digital information management, providing advice and services to the library, information, education and cultural heritage communities and is based at the University of Bath.
As Research Officer (Metadata Advocacy) you will provide support and advocacy to the HE community in the development and adoption of two important new metadata application profiles, in the areas of scholarly communications and geo-location.
Applicants should possess a first degree or equivalent qualification and have experience in working with metadata standards. This is a full time post but we are open to flexible working arrangements and support home working where appropriate. The contract will be for one year in the first instance. Starting salary for the above post will be in the range £27,466 - £32,796 per annum.
