The Future of Data Management Systems in the Structural Sciences,
1st April 2011, STFC

Overview: This workshop, organised by the Infrastructure for Integration in the Structural Sciences (I2S2) Project (JISC Managing Research Data Programme) brings together a variety of stakeholders with a vested interest in the effective management of structural science data. The workshop is intended to promote open discussions with regard to how best to align the current diverse systems so that a single spider-type service could harvest and aggregate data from them all.

Pablo de Castro of the JISC supported Scholarly Output Notification and Exchange (SONEX) initiative has written a blog account of the workshop.
