Museums

  • Collections Trust - provides information on cataloguing and curatorial concerns for museums.
  • Culture24 - a not-for-profit online publisher, working across the arts, heritage, education, and tourism sectors.
  • Museums Association – represents the people and institutions constituting Britain’s museums and galleries.
  • National Museum Directors' Conference (NMDC) - represents the leaders of the UK's national museums and galleries.
  • UK Registrars Group (UKRG) - a forum for communication and co-operation between museum registrars and professionals in other fields related to the work undertaken by registrars.

Archives

  • National Council on Archives - brings together the major bodies and organisations, including service providers, users, depositors and policy makers, across the UK concerned with archives and their use.
  • Society of Archivists - the principal professional body for archivists, archive conservators and records managers.
