The metadata profile summarises metadata included in the root document via the META element.
Currently, Doc-info will look for the following types of metadata:
- DC
- Dublin Core metadata
- Search engine metadata
- This includes NAME="author", NAME="keywords" and NAME="description"
.
- GENERATOR
- The content attribute of the META element with NAME="generator" is used
to indicate the software used to prepare the page.
- HTTP-EQUIV
- The HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" can be used to prompt a simple server-push.
