Exploiting The Potential Of Wikis:The UKOLN workshop on Exploiting The Potential Of Wikis was held at Austin Court, Birmingham on Friday 3rd November 2006.
A WiFi network is available at the venue. Please note, though, that the network is currently limited to a maximum of about 20 connections. In order to ensure best use of the available bandwidth we may place restrictions of use of the network. This may include a restriction on the numbers of users and the applications being used. In particular we will ask delegates to restrict use to simple Web browsing and to refrain from use of network intensive applications (e.g. downloading and installing applications).

A chat facility will be available during the workshop. This is intended to support online discussions during plenary talks.
A Wiki will be available during the workshop. This is intended for use in recording discussion sessions and for use in the report back sessions.
The VoIP Internet telephony application Skype may be used during the workshop. This is intended to allow one or two remote participants to listen in to the plenary talks.
Bloggers are welcome to create a Blog of the workshop. Workshop Bloggers are encouraged to contact the workshop organisers so that we can link to the Blog. In addition we encourage Bloggers to use the tag ukoln-wiki-workshop-2006.
