Brian Kelly gave three 2-hour lectures at the II Workshop on Web Enabling Technologies for Scientists held in Trieste from 11-20 November 2002.

The first session was on "Planning Your Web Site"

Delegates are assumed to have responsibility for providing a Web site to support a small group of scientists within their organisation. The aims of the Web site are to:

This lecture will address the purpose of the Web site, models for running a Web site, structuring your Web site, tools for managing your Web site, etc.

Please note that the lecture will not not provide detailed technical information on setting up and running Web sites.
