A Workshop For JISC Services

Brian Kelly (UKOLN) and David Sloan and Scott Milne (Universiry of Dundee) facilitated a workshop on Web Accessibility for JISC Services. The workshop took place at Faculty of Computing, City of Bristol College, College Green Centre, St George's Road, Bristol, BS1 5UA.

The workshop took place on 30^th October 2002. Workshop one took place from 10:30-12:30. Workshop two, listed below, took place from 13:30-15:30

Abstract: This half-day workshop session is intended for participants who have previous knowledge of Web accessibiulity issues. The workshop aims to address the challenges of implementing accessible Web sites. The workshop will cover the challenges facing Web managers resposible for manageing large Web sites. Topics to be covered include auditing Web site accessibility, Web accesibility policies, strategies for implementing policies and the links between accessibility and usability.
