Talisman Seminar On Legal Risks on the InternetThe Talisman seminar on Legal Risks on the Internet took place on Wednesday, 21st January 1998 at the University of Strathclyde and (via Videoconference) Northern College, Aberdeen. Brian Kelly gave a 30 minute talk on Technical Threats to Copyright & IPR.
This talk addresses some of the technical aspects of the Web which have legal implications such as the implications of caching, off-line browsers and indexing and robot technologies on access to copyrighted resources. The talk will identify potential technical solutions to these problems including Web protocol developments.
