Brian Kelly gave a 60 minute talk on What Can RSS Offer The Publisher? at a seminar for the Institue Of Physics Publishing from 11:00-12:00 on Friday 10^th June 2005. The talk was followed by buffet lunch during there was an opportunity for questions and discussion.

Podcast Of Seminar

A recording of the talk is available. It was taken used a Belkin Voice recorder and an iPod. The iTunes software was then used to convert the WAV file to MP3. The recording is now available as an MP3 file using the link below. In addition a Podcast file is also available which can be used to automatically copy the file to an MP3 player, such as an iPod.

Note that the quality of the recording is not very good for a number of reasons:

• When I gave the talk I moved away from the microphone.
• The quality of the recording was limited by the quality of the microphone and the tecnhical limitations of the iPod software (e.g. mono recording only)
• The conversion from WAV to MP3 appears to have introduced some audio flaws.
