Abstract

A meeting was held with staff from EDINA and Edinburgh University in order to discuss the potential of lightweight Web 2.0 technologies. The focus was on the use of RSS and the use of location-based applications (e.g. Google Map mashups).

Software Requirements

In order to exploit the geographical metadata embedded in this page the Greasemap 0.6 software from VINQ is required. In order to exploit the navigational use of RSS in the Cultivate Interactive ejournal the RSS panel Greasemonkey Script is required.
