Contextual Web Accessibility - Maximizing the Benefit of Accessibility Guidelines


Brian Kelly and David Sloan presented a paper on "Contextual Web Accessibility - Maximizing the Benefit of Accessibility Guidelines" at the International Cross-Disciplinary Workshop on Web Accessibility held in Edinburgh on 22-23rd May 2006.

The talk was scheduled to take place from 14:30-14:50 on Tuesday 23rd May 2006 (although the actual timings of the session changed).

About The Variants Of This Paper

The original paper was produced using MS Word. In addition an Adobe PDF version of the paper was produced for submission to the publishers.

The accompanying presentation was produced using MS PowerPoint. In addition a HTML version of the slides was produced from MS PowerPoint. Note that although the HTML version is not HTML-compliant, the option has been selected to be usable in a wide range of browsers.

A recording of the talk was created using an iPod. The file was converted to MP3 format and uploaded to this Web server. The file can be accessed directly. In addition an RSS file has also been provided to allow automated subscription using a Podcast client.

In addition the URL of the slides and the paper was included on the title slide which allowed workshop participants to access the slides, follow links, etc. during the presentations.

The availability of multiple variants is aimed to widen access to the ideas developed by the authors.
