Benchmarking Museum Web SitesBrian Kelly ran a hands-on workshop session on Benchmarking Museum Web Sites at the Spring School in New Media event organised by the Department of Museum Studies, Leicester University.
The workshop session took place from 11:50-13:00 and 14:00-15:00 on Wednesday 20th April 2005.
A simple annotation service known as Wikalong has been set up for this session.

This workshop session will provide an opportunity for participants to benchmark their museum Web site by making use of a range of Web-based tools. Participants will compare their findings in order to try to identify examples of best practices and areas in which improvements may be made. Following the hands-on session there will be a discussion of the findings followed by conclusions on possible follow-up actions.
