ELECTRONIC DATA SECURITY FOR LIBRARIES : Call for papers

VINE, published quartely by the Library Information Technology Centre (LITC) in London, is Europe's premier journal for library systems professionals, providing timely and definitive overviews of the hottest topics in the field. VINEs intention is to publish informative, well-researched wrting that will be of immediate practical use to its busy, influential readership.

For a forthcoming special issue of VINE, authors are invited to submit short papers (2000-5000 words) on any aspect of the provision of secure networked access to electronic information sources by European libraries and information services.

Here, electronic information sources is intended to cover: OPACs; networked CD-ROMs, bibliographic, full-text and multimedia databases; electronic journals, newspapers and newsletters; Web pages; FTP archives; and any other stores of digital information to which networked access is provided by libraries or information services.
