UKOLN has a vacancy for a Research Officer to work in the areas of Enhanced Tagging and Terminology Registries.

As a member of the Research and Development Team, you will be responsible for producing a range of research outputs and providing project management oversight for two new JISC-funded terminology/tagging projects. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with experience of semantic approaches to digital library development, to co-ordinate these two complementary activities.

The post is full time but we are open to flexible working arrangements and there is the possibility to negotiate home working where appropriate. Some travel is envisaged. The contracts will be for two years. Informal enquiries should be made to Liz Lyon, 01225 386580, email e.j.lyon@ukoln.ac.uk

Salary will be in the range £26,666 to 31,840 per annum depending on experience.
