About This Event

The eLib office held a concertation day looking at issues surrounding authentication. The eLib Authentication Concertation day took place at SOAS in London on 10th March. The event included input from Ed Zedlewski of NISS and Norman Wiseman, JISC Head of Programmes as well as from eLib and JTAP projects. In the morning presentations looked in particular at JISC's ATHENS authentication system and its implications for the electronic or hybrid library. In the afternoon some alternative approaches will be considered.
