A survey of the accessibility of the home pages of selected Web sites for participants on the "QA For Web Sites" workshop held prior to the ILI 2004 Conference. The survey makes use of the Bobby compliance checking tool.
It is important to be aware that this survey does not say if a page is accessible - it simply reports on accessibility problems which can be detected by an automated tool. A full accessibility audit would require manual checking in addition to use of automated tools.
A summary of the findings is given in the following table.
