Description: SATS is a three year project funded by the Norwegian general
practice associations to assess a new model for quality development in
primary health care. The model involves the introduction of indicators
for assessment, software for data collection and generation and peer groups
of physicians to meet locally to agree standards and plan improvements. This
site offers information about the project and its progress (it has initially
focused on three areas, diabetes care, the use of laboratory investigations,
and the management of sore throats and migraine.)
