Oxford Libraries Staff Conference 2007

Marieke Guy will be running a workshop on Wikis, Blogs and Web 2.0 Demystified at the Oxford Libraries Staff Conference 2007 to be held at St Catherine's College, Manor Road, Oxford on Thursday 15th March 2007.

The workshop will be run twice at 11.45 - 12.40 and 2.00 - 2.55

We have heard a great deal about 'Web 2.0'. But what does it actually mean? In particular what are the implications for librarians? In this workshop Marieke Guy will attempt to cut through the haze and provide examples of how Web 2.0 technologies and the Web 2.0 culture of openness can provide real benefits to you. There will be opportunities for discussion and collaborative working.
