This was a BarCamp session on Outsouring our Student E-mail to Microsoft using their Live@Edu Service.
The University of Aberdeen are the first in Europe to have users on Microsoft's Dublin data centre, and are the first to use the ExchangeLabs platform using ILM to control users.
The main drivers were the need to replace the exisiting inhouse IMAP soultion, based on a SquirrelMail web front end due to the age of the hardware and the lack of storage space offered by our current solution.
