3. Method

Identify and summarise through literature search (including Internet sources, ie discussion list and newsgroup archives, World Wide Web search engines) argument/opinion arising from third party commentaries on the CPA/RLG Report

Consider all recommendations in the CPA/RLG Report in the light of the findings of the literature search, and identify:

specific issues for debate
areas of future activity
gaps where further investigation may be required
opportunities for collaboration with the Research Libraries Group (RLG) and the Committee for Preservation and Access (CPA) and other bodies (such as the European Commission on Preservation and Access)

appropriate to the UK.

Create web site for dissemination of draft report to facilitate feed back prior to meeting.

Foster discussion at invitation meeting and produce final report of this meeting.
