The paper The Case of AACR2 Versus RDAexternal link by Ann Chapman of UKOLN has been published in the latest issue of Legal Information Management, v.10(3) 2010 (pp.210-213). In her paper, Ann examines the introduction of the Resource Description and Access cataloguing code to replace the Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules and explains why the latter were becoming unsuitable for the digital age whilst RDA has been specifically developed to deal with all types of media.
